Description
The molecular structure of bromine trifluoride has been determined uniquely from three pure rotational transitions in the microwave region of the two isotopic molecules. The observed and calculated transitions are in excellent agreement, and the quadrupole moment ratios are in excellent agreement with the values obtained in other molecules.
